Your Thresholds

A pair of beige women's underwear with lace trim, stained with white and red substances resembling perfume or makeup, and red liquid.

First Bleed

For those revisiting their first bleed, at odds with their periods, or seeking connection to their sacred feminine.

Your first bleed is a sacred entry into womanhood—a crossing that shapes how you live in your body, your emotions, and your sense of safety. Yet, you may have experienced this moment in silence or shame, sometimes alongside other painful events.

This can create a lifelong disconnect from your feminine nature and life force. Returning to this threshold lets you restore your original imprint and reconnect with your softness, your cyclical wisdom, and the power of being a feminine being in this lifetime.

Signs this Threshold may still need tending:

  • Hating or dreading your period

  • Having painful, heavy, or unpredictable periods

  • Feeling shame, disdain or disconnection from your body

  • Emotional swings that feel overwhelming and unmanageable

Sexual Experiences

For anyone whose past sexual experiences—abuse or disappointment—still leave a mark.

Your first sexual experiences—wanted or unwanted—leave a deeply personal, sometimes devastating imprint. Experiences that felt unsafe, violating, disrespectful, or disappointing—including childhood sexual abuse—can carry shame, secrecy, and self‑judgment. This energy isn’t just psychological; it lives in the body and shapes your emotions, thoughts, and physical health, and future relationships.

By reconnecting to yourself through these experiences, you can release what was never yours to carry, reclaim your sense of self, and reconnect to sexual energy as it was always meant to be: safe, honored, chosen, and pleasurable.

Signs this Threshold may need tending:

  • Dreading sex, feeling performative, or like you “should” want it

  • Feeling unsafe, wary, or fearful around men or intimacy

  • Difficulty trusting your body or your own desires

  • Numb or intense sexual energy that feels like you don’t know what to do with it

Miscarriage, & Pregnancy Release

For anyone ready to honor the pregnancies you’ve carried—seen and unseen—and transform grief and shame into self-compassion and trust.

All pregnancies change you in ways that stay with you forever. You may feel this differently from anyone else—deep grief, a sense of relief, or a complex mix of emotions larger than one lifetime. Often this is carried in isolation, touched by shame, stigma, or self-judgment, and sometimes complicated by medical trauma or confusion. You weren’t taught how to hold or process this kind of grief—a loss within your body that can feel like you’ve lost part of yourself. Without support, it can block the full release and the healing you were meant to receive from what lived within you.

Signs this Threshold may need tending:

  • Feeling grief, heaviness, or emptiness with no clear outlet

  • Shame, guilt, or self-blame about your body or choices

  • Feeling as if your body has betrayed you

  • Anger and sadness around medical procedures involved

  • Continued fear and anxiety around a current or future pregnancy

This is for anyone who still carries the pain, disconnection, or heaviness of their birth, breastfeeding, or motherhood journey.

If your birth, postpartum, or breastfeeding journey was unexpected, traumatic, or didn’t go as planned, it may have left you feeling disconnected from your body, your baby, or your sense of self. Your body holds this imprint and the story you carry about your birth, shaping how you feel as a woman and a mother.

The emotional, psychological, and physical currents you moved through—the depths, the loss, the uncharted waters—often go unseen or unacknowledged. These are the parts we’re taught to bury or minimize. Yet at a soul level, there’s a deep longing to be recognized and honored for all you navigated on the path to new life.

Even in a single session, we can discover the medicine held within your birth story and transform how feel about it, carry it, how you speak of it. The healing you do here ripples outward—to your children, your family, and your lineage.

Signs this Threshold may need healing:

  • Feeling shattered, disappointed, or disconnected from your self or your child.

  • Anger and rage surrounding your birth and those a part of it

  • Feeling sad, guilty, or unsettled.

  • Feeling confused by what happened.

  • Questioning yourself as a mother or feeling inadequate

  • Have a desired to be seen and acknowledged for what you went through.

Lets Get Started

My Threshold Story

At twelve years old, I felt terrified and alone when I first saw blood on my underwear. I didn’t feel able to talk about it — or even ask for a pad.

It is only looking back that I realize just how many un-acknowledged thresholds I experienced through my life. That early fear quietly shaped how I experienced being a woman: often unprepared, embarrassed, and exhausted from feeling at odds with my own body. There was shame and anger I didn’t yet understand, which I now recognize as unprocessed emotions from an intense upbringing and sadness for not having more space to honor my sensitivity, emotional intensity, and to really understand what was happening with me on so many different levels.

This all unfolded during a time of major transitions — moving, changes at home, and my parents’ divorce — which amplified the uncertainty and instability I felt within myself. All of it happening at once shaped how I experienced becoming a woman in a feminine body. Being a woman felt like something to brace against — something to fear.

A woman with long brown hair wearing a white sweater and blue jeans sitting on a furry stool against a gray curtain background.

When I became pregnant a year and half later, I didn’t trust it. I had a hard time accepting I was pregnant. I had crippling anxiety through out my pregnancy. My midwife reminded me how a pregnancy after a miscarriage is different.

It wasn’t until I gave birth to my daughter that I came face-to-face with the youngest, most tender parts of myself. Two weeks after she was born, when my husband returned to work, I fell apart. A familiar pain surfaced—deep loneliness amongst intense emotions and confusion I had known as a twelve-year-old, now amplified by caring for another being.

I felt overwhelmed by the responsibility of caring for my daughter—so aware, expressive, and spirited from the moment she arrived. Her constant crying plus the pain and complications of breastfeeding pushed my nervous system beyond what I knew how to hold.

It felt deeper than anything medication, talk therapy, or placenta pills could touch—a fracture in my soul that came to be resolved through my exact birth and post-partum.

That experience became a turning point. I began to see how every threshold—first bleed, sex, birth, loss, divorce, menopause, and beyond—when unhealed, bleeds into the next.

There are moments in life we want to rush past or forget. When we stay with the experiences we’d rather avoid—and tend to what they reveal—we grow into ourselves in ways nothing else can teach us.

Eventually, I became a pelvic physical therapist and, without realizing it, spent years helping women heal the very feelings I hadn’t faced in myself. I met countless women who, like me, carried stories and sensations they had never spoken aloud and were subconsciously trying to heal through seeking help for their physical pain or pelvic issues.

I knew I wasn’t doing the deeper work I was meant to do. I felt it every day — a mismatch between what women needed and what the medical model allowed space for — that came out as rage again my job and the medical system. Then came an unexpected pregnancy at the height of my burnout. The pregnancy release that followed became an unmistakable message: something in my life had to shift.

I left my job while doing deeper healing work around what I’d been through and began working with women online, supporting them as they processed the painful, formative moments of their lives—finding a sense of resolution they hadn’t found elsewhere.

Before I gave birth to my daughter, I experienced a missed miscarriage at thirteen weeks. That loss brought up a grief I had never known, pushed me to the edge of my sense of self-worth, and highlighted how much I had been seeking outside validation. The release of that pregnancy felt like a birth in itself. I discovered breathwork at this time that allowed me to unravel the painful layers of miscarriage. And yet, the experience of my miscarriage still showed up in my next pregnancy.

If a threshold has left you overwhelmed, blaming yourself, holding anger, or feeling small—the Threshold Portal is the best place to begin.
